Scheduled Integra profiles result in no output
A situation can occur where an Integra profile is set to be scheduled and although the profile runs, no output is generated by the profile. When checking the Integra profile, the last date and time of running appears. When checking the Integra Log database, this also shows the agent running and yet no output is produced.
While there are some other reasons why Scheduled Profiles might not operate (See FAQ: Integra profiles run manually but not when scheduled) and a number of settings are required (FAQ: Running Scheduled Integra Profiles) a reason related to access control may be that the agents involved in the running of schedules profiles have been signed by Shireburn Software's development team, which would not usually have rights to run agents on your server.
To overcome this problem, it is important to sign the Integra for Notes database. This document outlines the process required.
- Launch the Domino Administrator client and select the server on which the Integra for Notes database is being hosted.
- Select the Files tab as shown in the screen shot below:
- Navigate to the sub-directory containing your Integra database, select the Integra database.
- Choose the Database menu option from the menu presented on the right side of the screen and select Sign.
This will result in the presentation of a dialog to the user to allow the signing of the database as shown below:
The user has the option of selecting the signing to be undertaken either by the Notes User ID which is in use currently or by the ID of the server on which the database is running. Please refer to your own corporate policies to decide which is the most appropriate ID to be used for signing the database. |
